The 2016 Ford C-Max Energi looks like a more expensive European automobile in the way it drives. The ride is not specifically comfortable but there is a substantially solid feel to the way the C-Max goes down the road. The cabin is also notably quiet, particularly compared to the Prius, and also the communicative steering is another strong point. The Energi is stable through turns, although the weight of the larger battery pack makes the vehicle alittle less nimble compared to the regular C-Max.
The Ford C-Max Energi's plug-in system is worthy of praise as well. Besides the genuinely useful electric-only range, the Energi additionally boasts an overall driving range of over 500 miles. Or, if it's spirited acceleration you want, the C-Max blithely obliges. Acceleration is powerful for a hybrid, and even highway passing is not the painfully slow process usually related to hybrids.
